My family loves TIO LEO'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT in Carmel Valley and we visit there often. We consider ourselves connoisseurs of Mexican cuisine and have certain criteria for selecting our favorite restaurants in specific categories. One of our first criteria is that the tortilla chips in a Mexican restaurant should be hot and fresh when served. Also, the flavor should be authentic corn, and lastly, the salsa accompanying the tortilla chips should be fresh. We have found that to be the case at Tio Leo's. We especially like that each diner gets their own serving of salsa, thus you can "double dip" to your heart's delight!

Yesterday I received a call from a new client who was interested in buying a townhome in Carmel Valley, San Diego. It was a normal "looking for information" call until we got to his motivation. He said that the IndyMac Bank collapse had "frightened" him and that he wanted to get his money out of the banks and into real estate where he felt it would be "safer".
